We are excited to invite you to attend our annual Open House this Thursday, May 25. This is for all grades - Preschool through 8th. There is so much to see and do on our campus, and we don't want you to miss out on anything that is happening here at RHLS. We will be serving complimentary hot dog dinners on the church patio starting at 5:30 p.m. Classrooms will be open 6:00-7:30 p.m. We also encourage you to take a preview of next year by stopping by to visit the classrooms of your child's grade level that they will be entering for the 2017-2018 school year!

There are many sights to be seen…

GRILLED HOT DOGS (starting at 5:30 p.m.)
Enjoy a delicious hot dog, chips and drink compliments of Red Hill Lutheran Church and School and prepared by our fabulous pastors and church staff.

MIDDLE SCHOOL PRAISE BAND
Enjoy our students’ unique gifts and talents. Performances will be in the Rose Garden area in front of the Sanctuary.

CLASSROOM VISITS AND STUDENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Classrooms are open from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Please be sure to visit all of the classrooms to meet our wonderful teachers and view our students’ great work.

S.T.E.A.M. - The 6th and 7th grade students created a walk-through space museum. It features student-created projects and facts about our solar system, including; rockets, black holes, a working Mars Rover, and many more. The 8th grade students will have their STEAM room designs on exhibit. They have created floor plans using 2D, 3D, and CAD models; as well as presentations and budgets for what they think the new STEAM lab should entail. A special exhibit is set up on the 2nd floor of the CLC building for all to experience.

LEARNING GARDEN - Visit the RHLS Learning Garden to see the “fruits and veggies” of our labor! See student projects, sample lessons, and class gardens. The garden is located on the South side of the campus between the big swing set and preschool play area. Your student can pick up his/her garden project when you visit.

PERFORMING ARTS - Stop by to meet Mrs. Sparks and check out the video from this year’s fantastic 2nd-5th grade Christmas show!

SPANISH - Meet Sra. Blocker and learn about our elementary Spanish program and the Middle School Spanish classes.

MUSIC - Stop by to meet Mr. Hunter to see samples of instruments that RHLS students use and take home in grades K-8. Learn about plans for next year’s musical curriculum.

ART - Artwork will be displayed throughout the campus. Please stop by Mrs. Chun's table in the CLC to learn more about Middle School Art.

COMPUTERS - Stop by and meet Mrs. Post, and experience the technology provided to all students at RHLS.

P.E. - Stop by to meet Coach Martin and experience the joys of Physical Education, where students play, dance, challenge themselves to stay in shape, and learn how to build Godly character!

RESOURCE - Meet with Mrs. Chun and learn information about our programs here at RHLS, as well as the Language2Literacy program.

TUSTIN PUBLIC LIBRARY - Hear from our local Tustin Public Librarian about the many exciting summer reading opportunities being offered through our local public library here in Tustin.
