Flour Baby - Project
Today Oct. 4th you must bring in a flour baby and begin your journaling (day 1). Flour must be in zip lock with clothing or covering of some sort.
In order to learn about the responsibility involved with caring for a child, you will be participating in the Home Economics Flour Baby Assignment. You are to keep a daily journal of what you and your child are doing. (Journal begins Oct. 4th and Ends Oct. 10th). You must account for every hour of the day. Your “baby” must be with you at all times unless you absolutely must get a babysitter. Examples of this would be places where you cannot watch your child, such as sports. Babies left unattended will be confiscated and your grade will be lowered. Damage to the baby will also affect the grade. If the baby becomes a classroom disruption, teachers may confiscate it.
