Janette Gomez
Ms. Gomez believes that teaching children is her true calling and approaches her work with dedication, enthusiasm, and a heart for nurturing young minds. She strongly values incorporating biblical principles into her classroom so that every student has the opportunity not only to grow academically but also to develop and exercise their Christian faith. Through her guidance, students are encouraged to live out their faith and share the gospel with others in meaningful ways.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Gomez is actively involved in various church ministries and enjoys singing in her church choir. She also has a passion for travel, cooking, and painting, and treasures spending quality time with friends and family. Her diverse interests and commitment to faith enrich her teaching and create a warm, engaging environment where students feel inspired to learn and grow.
A habit that God has strengthened in me is striving for accuracy. I apply this habit daily in my pursuit of excellence in teaching. The area where I saw the most growth was with my students. "Strive for accuracy" became a regular phrase in our classroom—one that encouraged them to take pride in their work and aim higher. This blesses me because I witnessed a meaningful shift in their efforts and outcomes. They were motivated to improve their work, often revisiting tasks to make them better. Seeing that transformation in their mindset and performance was truly rewarding!
