Ministry Opportunities Coming Up

At Red Hill Lutheran, we believe in the value of community and connection. Our church and school work hand-in-hand to support the spiritual, emotional, and educational growth of students and families. Through this partnership, we offer opportunities for encouragement, service, and fellowship that enrich the lives of our students beyond the classroom. While participation in church events is always optional, we welcome all families to engage in the broader ministry life at Red Hill—to build relationships, find support, and explore faith in a way that feels meaningful and authentic.

As we enter the season of Lent, we are beginning a weekly prayer group at our school, and we
would like to warmly invite you and your family to share prayer requests with us. These requests
may be anonymous and can include prayers for your children, your family, loved ones, or
anything that is on your heart and in need of being lifted up in prayer.

Many times, we carry burdens quietly and hesitate to ask for prayer. Our hope is to change that
culture by creating a space where we can live authentically, support one another, and
acknowledge that we don’t have it all figured out, and that’s okay. This is not a place of
judgment, but a place of care, encouragement, and community.

Prayer requests may be shared in several ways:
● Filling out and returning a prayer card to your student's teacher
● Dropping a request in the prayer box at the Front Office
● Emailing requests to [email protected]

In addition, parents and grandparents are warmly invited to join us for this time of prayer as we
lift up the requests we receive. The prayer group meets on Thursday mornings from 8:45 am to
9:45 am in Peter’s Parish, beginning Thursday, February 19th, and continuing throughout the
season of Lent. All are welcome, and any time you are able to join us is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for being part of our school community. Please know that your family is supported
and continually lifted up in prayer.

On February 18th, we observe Ash Wednesday and enter the season of Lent—a time of reflection, repentance, and renewal. As in previous years, our YFM Team is preparing intentional, age-specific Lenten Family Resources that we pray will help you observe and celebrate the season of Lent individually or as a family. We invite all families to grow in faith together by engaging with these resources. All Lenten resources, physically and digitally, will be available beginning Sunday, February 15th. Contact Beth Stoffregen if you would like a physical Lenten Family Resource Bag or more information about how to access Lenten resources digitally.

In addition to Red Hill’s worship information, weekly programming information that our YFM Team offers can be found below. We encourage every family to take part in ways that fit your season of life as we walk this Lenten journey together.

Two Sunday worship services are at 8:00am (Classical) and 10:15am (Contemporary).

Holy Communion is offered at both services each Sunday.  All worship services are also live streamed and recorded.
