TALK SHOW PROJECT

1- Draft. write a first draft in class of your talk show. Include questions like: Como te llamas?/ Que te gusta hacer?/ Eres atrevido?/ De donde eres?, etc.
Use complete sentences.

2- Revise. Review the first draft of your talk show program. Check if your script is well organized, if the spelling is accurate, if you use the correct form of the adjectives and articles.
Write your final script

3- Practice your interviews

4- Record your talk show.

5- Evaluation. You will be graded on:

a) Following the writing process by turning in the first draft.
b) Use of vocabulary and accuracy of spelling and grammar
c) Use of complete sentences in your presentation
d) Amount of information provided
e) How well you sustain a conversation
f) How easy it is to understand you

Vocabulary Quiz

Study the Adjectives rules (page 55). Remember that most adjectives in Spanish have gender (masculine and feminine).
Use page 70 (Repaso del capitulo) to memorize the adjectives and their translations as well as other useful words.

Print the pages 24,25,26 attached
Fill them up and bring them on the due date

Print the Adjectivos-flashcards.
Cut them out and bring them to class in a ziploc bag. Label the bag with your name.

Please print the Spanish package. Use it to study for the Test. Fill out pages 20, 21 and 33 and bring it to class on the due date.

Practice and memorize new vocabulary. Write each verb from the Chapter 1A Review and its translation in Spanish in infinitive form ten times.

ex. To dance - bailar, or Bailar - To dance

Use Chapter 1A review to study the infinitives in Spanish.
The most basic form of a verb is called the infinitive. Spanish infinitives are only one word, and always end in:

-ar (bailar, cantar, etc)
-er (correr, leer, etc)
-ir (escribir, ir, etc)

Oral Presentation Project.

1- Write in your diagram about yourself with a description of things you like and don't like to do. Illustrate it with pictures, photos, drawings, etc.
2- Practice your presentation.

-speak clearly
-use the visuals to keep yourself focused
3- Present. Talk about yourself using the visual you have created (you can present it with in a video format or live).
4- Evaluation.

-how clearly and neatly your visuals match what you are saying.
