Probability Carnival Concept Design
  • Detailed sketch of your game detailing the theme and color scheme of your game
  • Brief (but detailed) description of your game.  How does a student play?  Do they get multiple attempts?  Is there a line they stand behind?  How do they win?  Are there multiple levels of success?
  • Anticipated Prizes
  • YOU SHOULD INCLUDE a list of the supplies you will need to work on your game.  These are supplies you should either clear with me (I can supply dice, small spinners, some cardboard, shoeboxes, posterboard, hot glue guns, box knives, scissors, etc).   If there are additional supplies you need, you should plan to bring them on Monday.

Samples and Populations
Differentiate between Biased and Unbiased Samples with reasoning (does a sample meet the three criteria we used to determine an unbiased sample?)
Make a prediction based on sample results
Measures of Center (mean, median, mode).  You should be able to calculate all three AND determine which is the most appropriate to use.
