About

Philosophy of Child Development
At Red Hill Lutheran Preschool, we see teaching as a ministry and a partnership with parents. Our early childhood program is designed to nurture the whole child—spiritually, academically, physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially—while expanding each child’s understanding of God, of others, and of the world He created.
Because Christian education is unique, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is at the center of how we teach and learn. It shapes the way children build confidence, form healthy relationships, and grow in character. We believe that faith and learning are inseparable, and that each child is a precious gift from God, worthy of love, respect, and encouragement.
Goals
Our goal is to make preschool a meaningful and joyful experience where children grow to their fullest potential. Through the loving guidance of dedicated Christian teachers, students are encouraged to discover God’s world with curiosity and delight.
Each day, children are given opportunities to connect learning with Biblical truth, to develop confidence in themselves, and to build friendships through cooperative play. They are guided to think critically, explore creatively, and grow in ways that strengthen both mind and heart. In this way, preschool becomes a foundation not only for academic readiness but also for a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Staff
The teachers at Red Hill Lutheran Preschool are experienced early childhood educators and dedicated Christians who create a warm and nurturing environment for every child. Each teacher meets California’s state requirements, and our preschool is licensed by the California Department of Social Services, with annual inspections to ensure the highest standards of care.
We are also proud members of the National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA). Our teachers, preschool director, and principal regularly attend workshops, conventions, and training sessions to stay current with research in early childhood education and the changing needs of today’s families. Their commitment ensures that each child receives not only excellent academic preparation but also loving, Christ-centered care.
