Beginning her third year of teaching at RHLS, Mrs. Lodin continues to feel blessed to teach at a school where arts education is highly valued and practiced on a daily basis. Music is one of God's greatest gifts to us, and sharing that gift with our students in Preschool - 8th grade is a pure joy. Mrs. Lodin treasures guiding her students to discover an appreciation and love for music through singing, playing instruments, movements, games, ringing handbells, learning about the history of musical genres and musicians, and various interdisciplinary lessons that prove that music is present everywhere! As a former Hollywood producer, Mrs. Lodin also loves producing fun and memorable performances throughout the year that serve to praise God in the most glorious manner.

Mrs. Lodin is married to Mr. Mike Lodin, an optical engineer and a trombonist, and they share two teenage sons -- Anders (sophomore at Loyola Marymount University) and Julian (senior at Irvine High School). The Lodins are active members of the Irvine High School community serving on the PTSA board and as Marching Band and Boys' Lacrosse team parent leaders. They love to travel across the U.S. and globally and are avid moviegoers.
