Fees & Tuition

 2018/2019 Fees Due at Registration: 
 
For Preschool Tiny Tots and Pre-K students: There is a $260 non-refundable registration fee per student for Tiny Tots, and $310 non-refundable registration fee per student for Pre-K and Pre-K5. Students must be three years of age by December 1, 2018 and fully potty-trained to enroll in the Tiny Tots classes and four years of age by September 1, 2018 and fully potty-trained to enroll in the Pre-Kindergarten classes. Applications will not be considered until all required paperwork is submitted.
 
For Kindergarten through Grade 8:
Returning Student Registration Fee for Kindergarten is $500 (which includes all classroom supplies) and the 1st-8th grade registration fee is $455 (supply lists will be sent home in the summer).
 
New Student Application Fee is $25 and Registration Fee for Kindergarten is $535 (which includes all classroom supplies) and the 1st -8th grade registration fee is $490 (supply lists will be sent home in the summer).

  • New 2nd – 8th grade students will be assessed by RHLS staff using an entrance evaluation, which will determine appropriate placement. 
  • New Kindergarten & 1st grade students require an assessment by Chancy & Bruce Education Resources to determine appropriate placement. Contact directly to schedule appointment and provide $50 assessment fee.  (714-841-1257).
  • Students not accepted by the school will receive a full refund of the registration fee.

FIRST PAYMENT DUE JULY 1
Monthly tuition is calculated by the total number of days in the school year divided by ten equal payments. Consequently, monthly tuition remains constant regardless of the number of school days that month. Payment is due the FIRST of each month beginning July 2018 through April 2019. Please note that there is not tuition payment due in May or June 2019. Payment is late after the first of the month and a 10% late fee will be assessed on the total family account balance if not received. RHLS reserves the right to dismiss any student whose family account balance is past due. Please note that all accounts must be current before a student may be registered for Summer Camp and/or the 2019-2020 school year. To maintain enrollment status, all account balances must remain current. Payments are processed through FACTS Management Company. Tuition options are listed below:
Option 1: Prepayment for the entire school year with FACTS or via check on or before July 1, 2018. A 3% discount will be deducted. The 3% discount will be applied after all other discounts.
Option 2: Ten monthly payments through FACTS. Preschool payments begin July 1, 2018 and end April 1, 2019.

Discounts will be provided for full-time (5 day) students only on a total family tuition basis.

FAMILY DISCOUNTS – Discounts will be provided on a total family tuition basis.
  • For a family with 2 students, subtract $400 from the total yearly family tuition amount.
  • For a family with 3 students, subtract $1,000 from the total yearly family tuition amount.
  • For a family with 4 students, subtract $6,000 from the total yearly family tuition amount.
RHLC MEMBER DISCOUNTS – A Church Member Discount Agreement Card (available in the school office) must be completed by any family seeking to qualify for this discount. A meeting with Pastor Seth to obtain his signature is required. A family must have completed the church membership process by July 1, 2018 and regularly attend weekly Red Hill Lutheran Church service to qualify for this discount.

Supplemental Costs:
For Preschool Tiny Tots and Pre-K students:
PRIDE Hours (Ten service hours per family per year for five day students and five service hours per family per year for three or two day students OR $25 for every hour not served), Special Events, Pictures, Yearbook, and other incidental costs will be the parents’ responsibility.
For Kindergarten through Grade 8:
PRIDE Service Hours (Ten service hours per year per family or $25 for every hour not served), Special Events, Class Trips, Pictures and other incidental costs will be the parents’ responsibility.
