Grandparent & VIP Day

Dear RHLS K-5th Grade Parents,

We're looking forward to hosting our annual Grandparent/VIP Day on Thursday, February 12th!

Our hope is that every student in Kindergarten - 5th Grade will be able to celebrate with at least one special adult in their life (Grandparent, Aunt/Uncle, Godparent, family friend, etc...). If your student is unable to bring a Grandparent/VIP, one parent per student is okay. If no one is available to accompany your student, please let us know so that we can arrange for your student to participate in the activities with a buddy.

Your student's Grandparent/VIP is invited to join us at 8:15 am for coffee and refreshments on the church patio, then enjoy a special student-led patriotic assembly in the Sanctuary beginning at 8:45 am with classroom visits to follow.  

All students will be released at 11:00 am from their classrooms. They may leave campus with their Grandparent/VIP once signed out from the classroom. There is no daycare available (this is a non-student day for Preschool and Middle School).

We ask that ALL parents of students in K-5th grade complete the RSVP Form no later than February 1st. Be prepared to answer questions about your special guest(s) and don’t forget to hit SUBMIT at the end to save your form! You can always go back to your form and edit your responses.

Last, but not least, we are preparing a slideshow for the Welcome Reception and would love to share photos of your children with their Grandparent/VIP. Please upload your photos to the RSVP form or email them to [email protected].
