Mrs. Westenhofer has 2 passions: teaching and supporting teachers. She felt called to be a teacher since she was in preschool. She consistently pushes herself to grow and improve her craft, and she is currently working toward a National Board Certification. Her passion emanates through her lessons in the classroom and she often weaves humor and fun into rigorous, standards-based activities. Her first priority for her students is a safe, nurturing environment where students can comfortably take academic risks and showcase their God-given talents and abilities. She believes every child has a desire to do well, and strives to give every child the tools they need for success.
