Dave Brenner

Mr. Brenner has been teaching and coaching at RHLS since 2009. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Arizona State University. In addition, he earned his California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Master of Education degree from Concordia University, Irvine. Lutheran Education is a huge part of Mr. Brenner’s family-- his wife is an educator at Orange Lutheran High School, and both of his daughters are RHLS alums. His family enjoys hiking, going to the beach, family game nights, and just relaxing on the couch with a good movie.

Mr. Brenner believes that each student has unique, God-given strengths and abilities, which contribute to the diverse RHLS middle school community. In the classroom, he strives to engage students in lessons that use a variety of instructional styles and activities that target the different learning preferences and modalities of children. He hopes students will have a greater understanding of the world from a Christian perspective coupled with a deeper awareness of God and His presence throughout history.
