Tracy Coggins

Mrs. Coggins is honored and blessed to be part of the RHLS middle school team. She has been teaching for over three years at RHLS.  Mrs. Coggins received her Bachelor of Arts from CSUF in Accounting and worked in private and public accounting for several years. After having children, she stayed home for many years, and started her own business working with families.  Years later, she went back to school to earn her multiple subject credential, single subject in Language Arts, and Masters in Reading Education from CSUF. During her coursework, she completed many case studies that have enhanced her experience in working with readers of all levels. In addition, she received her certification in Gifted and Talented Education.

She loves sharing Christ with children in the classroom and at her church, where she also serves as the Children’s Ministry Director. Mrs. Coggins has served alongside her four boys in her ministry for the past ten years.  She enjoys watching movies, and taking walks with her family.

Her passion revolves around working with students to help them understand the significance of education by making connections through their interests and how it relates to their studies. Mrs. Coggins helps her students see Biblical connections in their academics and challenges them to engage with Depth and Complexity in all subject areas. She looks forward to helping students develop new strategies and habits to carry them through for years to come.
