K-8 Day Care Program

Our quality before and after-school Day Care offers a variety of activities through our Enrichment Programs including Intramural and League Sports. These extracurricular Enrichment classes are grouped into sessions of approximately 7-13 weeks per session. Advance registration with payment is required for enrollment. Please note that space is limited in some Enrichment classes so early registration is strongly encouraged.

DAY CARE HOURS: 7:00 – 8:00 AM and 2:45 – 6:00 PM
ENRICHMENT CLASSES: 3:15 – 4:15 PM
DAYS: Monday – Friday

Please note that Day Care is available on minimum days for the regular monthly Day Care fee. Vacation Camps (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter) may also be available. There are no Enrichment classes on minimum days.

ELEMENTARY STUDENTS (Grades K-5):

• Elementary students (Grades K-5) arriving before 8:00 a.m. must be signed-in to Day Care, and Day Care rates apply (Refer to “Arrival”).
• Elementary students not picked-up by 3:00 p.m. will be signed-in to Day Care, and Day Care rates apply (Refer to “Dismissal”).

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS (Grades 6-8):

• Middle School students (Grades 6-8) arriving before 8:00 a.m. will be signed-in to Day Care, and Day Care rates apply. Students may NOT be on campus unsupervised before 8:00 a.m. Middle School students may sign themselves and their younger siblings in to Day Care (Refer to “Arrival”).
• Middle School students not picked-up by 3:15 p.m. will automatically be signed-in to Day Care, and Day Care rates apply (Refer to “Dismissal”).

RATES:

The billing format of Day Care offers three separate flat rate programs that apply for the entire month. Hours are not calculated and billed since there is no carry-forward or refund. This format allows the school to offer Day Care at a discounted hourly rate as determined by the total number of days and hours per month Day Care is offered.

Pre-School Extended Care Program

Extended Care is available in the morning from 7:00 – 8:30 AM and in the afternoon from 3:00 – 6:00 PM We are pleased to offer quality care with a variety of activities including Enrichment Classes, crafts, games, and Friday Popcorn and Movie Day. Registration and/or Supplies Fee(s) may be required to cover the cost of materials unique to some of the activities. Registration for all months of Extended Carem during a specific session is required when registering for an enrichment class OR the total Course Fee for each class will be due. For those families not enrolled in Extended Care Plans B or C, the after-school programs are offered at a flat rate per session according to the number of weeks in the session (approximately 8-12 weeks) in addition to the Registration and/or Supplies Fees.

• Students arriving before 8:20 a.m. must be signed-in to Extended Care in Room 8. If the student is not enrolled in a pre-paid Day Care Plan (Plan A, or C) parents will be billed at the hourly “Drop-In” rate.
• Students remaining on campus after 3:10 p.m. will be signed-in to Extended Care. If the student is not enrolled in a pre-paid Day Care Plan (Plan B or C) parents will be billed at the hourly “Drop-In” rate.

PAYMENT IS DUE IN ADVANCE BY THE FIRST OF EACH MONTH or the hourly Drop-In Rate of $5.00 per hour will apply in addition to the monthly plan rate. Discounts do not apply to Extended Care Plans.

• Extended Care rates do not include fees for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter Camps.
• Students picked-up after 6:00 p.m. will be billed a late fee of $15.00 per every increment of 15 minutes late. Day Care privileges may be revoked for non-payment or after the second late pick-up occurrence in a given trimester.
• For specific rates, please refer to the 2007-2008 Tuition and Day Care rate sheet.
• There is a $75.00 fee to research and produce copies or information of Day Care sign-in and sign-out records from more than two months prior to the date of request.

SIGN-IN AND SIGN-OUT PROCESS: All students must be signed-in and signed-out DAILY. Please call or send a note to the school office if your child will be picked-up by a person other than those named on the Emergency/Application Form. Your child will not be released to any person without your permission. Students not signed-out or signed-out without a pick-up time noted will be charged $5.00 per hour all three hours (the maximum number of Day Care hours from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.).

• All students must be signed-out by an authorized person named on the Emergency/Registration Form. Please call or send a note to the school office if your child will be picked-up by a person other than those named on the Application/Emergency Form. Your child will not be released to any person without your permission.
• Students picked-up after 6:00 p.m. will be billed a late fee of $15.00 per every increment of 15 minutes late.
