worship.
PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
All students are blessed with unique gifts, talents,
and abilities…
Red Hill Lutheran School seeks to influence students toward a personal relationship
with Jesus Christ and to assist parents with the identification, development,
and nurturance
of each student’s unique gifts, talents, and abilities so that they may
be used to serve and glorify God. Recognizing that all students learn differently
and possess unique God-given greatness, the faculty and staff at Red Hill Lutheran
School are committed to individualizing learning activities while also maintaining
high standards and expectations. Because parental involvement is key to the
successful development of our students, the faculty and staff welcome and strongly
encourage regular interaction, feedback, and continued partnership in the classroom
and other school-related activities.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe in the Triune God – God the Father, God
the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We acknowledge One God in these three persons. (Genesis
1:1, Matthew 28:19; John 10:30)
We believe that God created the universe and is loving, compassionate, just,
and faithful.
We are justified by faith through God’s grace. (Ephesians
2:8-10)
God’s deepest desire is to live in an intimate relationship with humanity
and for all people to come to the truth and be saved.
We believe that, because of God’s desire to live
in a personal relationship with us, God became a human
being. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. (John
10:30)
By grace, through His death and resurrection, Jesus has made it possible for
all people to live in a personal relationship with Him (John
3:16, 5:24; Romans 3:23-24, 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5).
One day Jesus will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord
of Lords (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11).
We believe that all who trust Jesus will live forever in Heaven.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the presence of Jesus in us.
Through the Spirit, God loves us, empowers us, and lives in us.
The Spirit gives gifts to all believers and guides us toward spiritual truth.
(Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19,
John 10:30)
We believe that the Bible is the true Word of God. Through it God reveals Himself
to us.
The entire Bible is God breathed and God inspired.
The Bible is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. (2
Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)
