Annie Caamano earned her degree in Child Development from California State University Fullerton. She has been involved with Tustin Meadows Tiny Tots Co-Op Preschool as both a parent and a substitute teacher for the past seven years. She lives in Tustin with her husband, John and their four children, Sydney, Natalie, Alexandra and Adam. All of her children attend Red Hill Lutheran School.

is a long time member of Red Hill
Lutheran
Church.
Mrs. Hamilton's philosophy for teaching is to love and
respect the children and that is what they will give in return,

Mrs. Sabina McCracken earned her Early Childhood
Education and Administration Units at Rancho Santiago College
and has over 20 years of teaching experience.
She has been teaching Pre-School since 2000
at Red Hill Lutheran School.
Prior to teaching at Red Hill Lutheran, Mrs. McCracken was
the Teacher/Director at Tustin Meadows Tiny Tots Pre-School.
She has also worked in Special Education for the Tustin Unified
School District and as a Sunday School Teacher here at Red
Hill Lutheran Church. Mrs. McCracken and her husband, Jim,
have four children: Tommy, Natalie, Megan and Sean. Their
youngest son, Sean, is a student at Red Hill Lutheran School.
Mrs. McCracken and Mrs. Nona have worked together as co-teachers
at Red Hill since 2002.
They enjoy providing meaningful learning experiences for
their
students in a warm, loving

Mrs. Nona
Newe earned her Early Childhood Education Units at Yorba Linda
Community College. She has worked in the Pre-School Department
at Red Hill Lutheran School for 20 years.
She and her husband, Carl, are members of Red Hill Lutheran
Church and
long time members of the Chancel Choir. They have two daughters,
Andrea and Melinda, who were both students at Red Hill Lutheran
from Pre-School through Middle School. Her daughter Andrea
is married to Isaiah Coughran, the Youth Director here at Red
Hill Lutheran Church. Isaiah and Andrea lead the 9:30 a.m.
contemporary worship service at Red Hill on Sundays and
have three children.
Mrs. McCracken and Mrs. Nona have worked together as co-teachers
at Red Hill since 2002. They enjoy providing meaningful
learning experiences for their students in a warm, loving
environment.

Mrs. Elizabeth Crowl has experience working with pre-school children through her church where she taught Sunday School, assisted with Cherub Choir and served on the Pre-School Board. She has been married more than 20 years and has been blessed with a daughter, Emily. Emily has been a student at Red Hill Lutheran School since kindergarten. In her free time, Mrs. Crowl enjoys family trips to Lake Havasu for water skiing, camping, gardening, reading and cooking for family and friends. She believes in respecting each child’s personality and encouraging their spiritual, social and emotional well-being.

Mrs. Jamie Lumsdaine earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton. She is pursuing her Teaching Credential at National University. Mrs. Lumsdaine has worked in the pre-school setting for many years. She attends Eastside Christian Church in Fullerton. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and hosting sleep-overs for all of her nieces and nephews. Her hobbies include painting, baking and photography. Mrs. Lumsdaine is excited to be part of the Red Hill Lutheran School family!

Mrs. Barber joined Red Hill Lutheran School in 2006. She was married last May so many may still know her as Miss Ritter. She teaches along-side Mrs. Henry. Mrs. Barber earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Concordia University and her Masters of Education Degree from National University. She has enjoyed her two years of teaching and plans to stay in the field for many years to come. Mrs. Barber also studied theater and enjoys using music and theater in her daily teaching. |

Mrs. Sheila Dovenmuehler, A.K.A. Mrs. D, started 4 years
ago here
at Red Hill Lutheran School. She is continuing as the Pre-School Student Activities Director. Before coming to RHLS, she was a teacher's aide for two years at a local Catholic school. She has earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in
Sociology
and Social Science from the University of California, Irvine. She recently married Red Hill's fabulous 5th grade teacher, John Dovenmuehler, A.K.A. Mr. D. and is very excited to begin her married life with Mr. D! Mrs. D loves working with children and providing opportunities for them to express themselves artistically and musically. She is very excited to be working alongside Miss Tracy Bower again this year. |

Lutheran School since 2002. Mrs. Henry serves as the Director of the Pre-School department. She is also a Pre-K teacher. Mrs. Henry has been teaching in the

Mrs. Henry earned her Early Childhood Education and Administration
Certificate
from Orange Coast College. She was the Director and a teacher
at a Catholic School before coming to Red Hill. Mrs. Henry
served as a Co-Director for two years and now serves as the
Academic Director of the Pre-School Department. Mrs. Henry
enjoys being outdoors, riding motorcycles, relaxing in the
sun and being with her son Logan and family. |

Mrs. Molly Visbeek is new to the Red Hill Lutheran Pre-School Staff, team teaching Pre-K with Mrs. Celeste Murray. Mrs. V has been teaching in the Early Childhood Education field for 25 years. She earned her Early Childhood Education certificate from Orange Coast College. She has also been an assistant director and a physical education teacher at a school for K-2.
Mrs. V enjoys reading, gardening, and going to the beach. She loves dogs and the Lakers. She lives in Costa Mesa with her husband, three children and four dogs.

for over 20 years! Before teaching Kindergarten, Mrs. Markle
taught Pre-Kindergarten
and served as the Pre-School Director. She has three children
and lives in Huntington Beach with her husband, a high school
teacher at a public school. Mrs. Markle enjoys coming to school
every day with her son, Jake, who attends Red Hill. Mrs.
Markle and her family enjoy camping, gardening, and the outdoors.

Mrs. Roebuck has taught Kindergarten since 1996, and Pre-School
for many years prior to that. She has been a Kindergarten teacher
at Red Hill since 2000. Mrs. Roebuck grew up in Glendale, California
with her parents and three younger brothers. She graduated
from Chapman University with a degree in Liberal Studies. She
has been married for 12 years and
has been blessed with a son named Conner and a daughter named
Emily, who both attend
Red Hill. Mrs.
Roebuck enjoys spending time
with her
family,
reading, and going to the movies.
Mrs. Roebuck is known for her loving, patient, calm demeanor,
and she is loved by all of her students. |

Mrs. Stewart graduated from Chapman University
where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies with
an emphasis in Elementary Education. She also has a California
State Teaching Credential and is working toward a Masters in
Curriculum and Instruction at Concordia University. Mrs. Stewart
taught kindergarten for three years and first grade for two
at Crystal Cathedral Academy in Garden Grove before teaching
third grade here at Red Hill in the 2005/2006 school year.
Mrs. Stewart prays for her students every day and knows that
each
child was
uniquely created by God. Her classroom is full of singing and
hands-on learning activities; and parents are often busy helping
with centers. Mrs. Stewart teaches to all modalities of learning
and she has an abundance of patience. Mrs. Stewart and her
husband, Greg have been married for 17 years
and have two children. Her daughter graduated from Red Hill Lutheran and attends Orange Lutheran. Her son is a student at Red Hill Lutheran. |

Mrs. Claire Azzara attended the University of San Diego, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Diversified Liberal Arts with a Human Development Emphasis, and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. This is Mrs. Azzara’s second year teaching first grade at RHLS. Before RHLS, Mrs. Azzara taught Kindergarten in the San Diego Unified School District for three years, and Pre-Kindergarten in Irvine for one year. Mrs. Azzara and her
husband reside in Tustin Ranch and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first baby. She enjoys reading, scrap-booking,
baking, and spending time with family. |

Mrs. Gordon actually attended Red Hill Lutheran School back in 1982 from second through seventh grade. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton where she received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Child Development and completed her credential coursework at National University. Mrs. Gordon previously taught Kindergarten for two years and served as the Assistant Principal at Red Hill last year. She is excited to teach first grade with Mrs. Azzara, while also serving as the Director of Activities. She has been married to her husband Andy for 10 wonderful years and they have a son Tyler, who attends Pre-Kindergarten at RHLS. Mrs. Gordon enjoys spending time with her family, attending church, swimming, scrap-booking, traveling, going to the movies, shopping and going to baseball games. |

Williamson has worked at Red Hill Lutheran School as a classroom
aide, substitute teacher and summer teacher. She enjoys
the water and has taught private swimming lessons for many
years. Miss Williamson also loves teaching and creating art.

as a teacher and administrator. Mrs. Hammer
has been working at Red Hill Lutheran School since 2002.
She feels very blessed to have a career that she deeply enjoys.
Mrs.
Hammer lives with her husband and two children in Hesperia. Her children attend RHLS.
Mrs. Hammer believes giving a child a Christian education is important
to encourage moral as well as spiritual growth. Her favorite
activities include taking care of her home and spending time
with her family and friends. She also enjoys taking family
camping trips to the mountains. |

Mrs. Sharp has worked in private education for five years and has experience working with all ages Kindergarten through 8th grade. The students in her Multi-Age classroom enjoy many center activities and she believes in molding 21st century learners by integrating technology into her lessons daily. Married for 15 years and a Tustin native, Mrs. Sharp and her family are active in the local sports community and their parish. Taking road trips, boating, and going to the movies are some of the activities she enjoys with her husband and three daughters. |

This is Mrs. Sonderby’s second year at Red Hill Lutheran School, but first year as a fourth grade teacher. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education, California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Minnesota Teaching License in kindergarten through 6th grade and middle school mathematics. She graduated from the College of Saint Benedict in Minnesota in 2005 and has taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades as well as preschool. She has also served as long-term substitute teacher in computers. Mrs. Sonderby enjoys going to the beach, biking, and skiing in Colorado. She values her family and friends and makes it back to Minnesota as often as she can.

Mr. Dovenmuehler earned his Elementary
Education Degree and Credential from Augustana College in
Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He began teaching at Red Hill
Lutheran School in 1995. Mr. Dovenmuehler completed
his Master's Degree in Education at Concordia University
in Irvine. Throughout his life, Mr. Dovenmuehler has participated
in or been involved with athletics, and is a huge sports
fan. He coaches football, basketball and track for RHLS. Fondly referred to at Red Hill as Mr. "D.",
he is loved by his students for the fun activities in his
classroom and his ability to explain concepts fully. Mr.
D's life got even better this summer when he married RHLS pre-school teacher, Sheila Dimaano, now known as Mrs. D!

Mrs. Wilson has been teaching at Red Hill since 2005. Before coming to Red Hill, Mrs. Wilson was a substitute for the Saddleback Unified School District. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Fullerton.
Mrs.Wilson attends Saddleback Valley Community Church where she has been a member since 1987. On weekends, she enjoys mountain biking, hiking with her husband, and spending time outside in God’s great creation.
Integrating the California content standards with hands-on activities, Mrs. Wilson enjoys engaging students in a variety of fun lessons that are both exciting and challenging.

Mr. Belgen has been a member of King of Glory Lutheran Church in Fountain Valley since birth. He was baptized and confirmed there too. Mr. Belgen grew up in Fountain Valley and attended Fountain Valley High School. Mr. Belgen has a teenage son who loves basketball and baseball. Like his son, Mr. Belgen loves sports, additionally he enjoys watching the Science Channel, History Channel, and the Discovery Channel. They soothe Mr. Belgen’s continual need to learn about the world, those around him, and his faith. Mr. Belgen also likes to read.
Mr. Belgen taught in the public school system in both primary and middle school classes. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree and an Education Credential from Vanguard University. Mr. Belgen plans to obtain a Masters of Education in the next three years. He has coached sports for more than ten years, Mr. Belgen’s motto is to Live, Love, Laugh!

her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education at Biola University
and has been a member of Red Hill Lutheran Church for many
years. She is married and has five children ranging in age
from 24 to 12 years old. All
are current or future Red Hill graduates! She and her family
enjoy sports, camping and fishing,

Mrs. Tarkoff has been teaching at Red
Hill Lutheran School since 2003 and has been a part of administration since 2006. She earned her Bachelor
of Arts degree in American Studies with an emphasis in English
as well as her Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential from
California State University, Fullerton. She is earned her Master's in Education in 2008 with her project entitled "Integrating Technology into the Writing Process" for which she received "Outstanding Project" and "Outstanding Graduate Student" awards. She is a fellow of the UCI Writing Project. Mrs.
Tarkoff loves books and enjoys teaching Language Arts. She and her husband have two sons, Alex and Austin.
Besides books, her family enjoys music. They are members
of the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Aliso Viejo. |

Mrs. Watts has taught both elementary and middle school for many years. She attended New Mexico State University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood. She also has a master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Mrs. Watts enjoys camping, boating, scrapbooking, and spending time with family. Mrs. Watts and her husband have two children, Andrew 18 and Zoe, 7. They are members of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Mrs. Watts and Zoe love being a part of the Red Hill family!

Miss Tamara Jordan is a resource specialist at Red Hill Lutheran School. She will be graduating from National University in December 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Development with a focus on Disabilities. She is also trained in the Wilson Reading System and uses this multi-sensory approach in reading to enable all students to experience success with literacy. She is also the PAL (Peer Assistance and Leadership) advisor for middle school. She leads our PAL group in its mission of using recycling funds to participate in various community service projects throughout the year. Miss Tamara has worked at Red Hill since 2005, she enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, and feels so blessed to be a part of this school!

Mrs. Diana Blocker is the Spanish teacher at Red Hill Lutheran School. She believes in teaching more than just vocabulary. Mrs. Blocker’s students learn games and songs from Spanish-speaking countries, they receive a broad overview of Hispanic culture , and even learn to pray to our Lord in Spanish!
Mrs. Blocker was born and raised in Mexico. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico) and a Master’s Degree in History from USP (Universidad de Sao Paulo) while living in Brazil. Mrs. Blocker has been teaching Spanish for 13 years and she truly believes that learning another language should be fun and interesting.
Mrs, Blocker has been married for twelve years. The Blocker’s two older children, Natalia and Alexander, are students at RHLS and they just celebrated the birth of their third child, Edward. Mrs. Blocker loves to travel, cook, and bake. Her favorite activity is spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Booke has been teaching music for
more than 28 years, 9 of them
at Red Hill. He spent 12 years teaching at the high school level before making the decision to teach at the elementary/middle school level. He believes there is much God-given talent
at Red Hill Lutheran
School
and
his job is to identify and help the students develop that
talent to their fullest capability. Any student with the
desire to perform will have the opportunity to do so during
the year. Mr. Booke lives in Tustin with his wife, Harriet,
a sixth grade teacher in Buena Park. They have two adult
children. The Bookes are members of Red Hill Lutheran Church
and are active in Music Ministry. |
| Kristi Hamelin |

Mrs. Kristi Hamelin earned her Bachelor
of Arts Degree from the University of California at Riverside.
Her emphasis included studies in Kinestheology of Dance and
Choreography. She joined the faculty of Red Hill Lutheran
School in the year 2000 as the After-school day care director
and the Summer Camp Director. Mrs. Hamelin later introduced
Creative Movement to the curriculum for all RHLS K-8 students.
After a 4 year hiatus to be home with her daughter, she returned to the Red Hill faculty as the Performing
Arts Teacher. Mrs. Hamelin has performed, taught and choreographed
for over 15 years and received the Desert Theater League
award for Best Choreography of a Ballet in 2005, 2006 for
her work in Palm Springs, CA. Mrs. Hamelin believes all students
are blessed with unique abilities and gifts. The performing
arts environment offers each child the opportunity to discover
new ways of discovering these gifts. Mrs. Hamelin and her
husband, Bill have one daughter attending RHLS. |
| Mallorie Lenn |

Miss Mallorie Lenn is the Physical Education teacher and Athletic Director at Red Hill Lutheran School. She also teaches 6th grade Health Education and coaches girls’ basketball, JV volleyball, and co-ed track and field.
Miss Lenn is originally from Garden Grove and is a huge fan of all the Orange County sports teams, including the Anaheim Angels and the Anaheim Ducks. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Notre Dame on a full softball scholarship, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
Miss Lenn incorporates health and portions of anatomy and physiology into the physical education program. This will teach the students not only different activities to participate in, but how to live healthy lifestyles and how to take care of themselves and their bodies. In addition, lessons on what goes on inside our bodies during certain activities will be taught so students will learn about their wonderful God-given bodies and physical abilities.

Mr. Moberly was raised in Colorado and
has been involved with technology since 1971. He has taught
computer classes at Red Hill Lutheran School for 7 years.
Mr. Moberly and his wife, Leslie, live in Santa Ana. They
have one son, Colin, who is a graduate of RHLS and a graduate
of Orange Lutheran High, and is attending UCI. Computer Club is offered after school each
week and
is led by Mr. Moberly. |
